Planting projects
Going Positive planting projects are located in regions with the highest potential carbon yield in Australia.
Check out our project map to see the location of our planting sites and offset projects.
So far, Climate Positive has restored 3.95 hectares of biodiverse forest to private lands in the Strzelecki Ranges, South Gippsland, Victoria, where some of the world's tallest forests once stood.
In the next planting season, Autumn/Winter 2008, Climate Positive will be restoring biodiverse forest to part of the 255 hectare Trust for Nature protected site "Bush Family Reserve" in the Perry River region of Victoria (west of Bairnsdale).
Again, The Perry River site was selected due to its suitability to support carbon-rich forests and its location alongside the Perry River corridor.
