Planting policies
Climate Positive is committed to recreating ecologically diverse forests on cleared land in high-carbon-yield areas across the Australian landmass.
Our eco-restoration projects are designed to absorb carbon from the atmosphere and to deliver water, salinity, erosion and biodiversity benefits. Plantings are positioned to build landscape-scale habitat corridors, connecting remnant vegetation to allow wildlife to move to escape rising temperatures and build ecosystem resilience in the face of the global warming that is now imminent.
We have developed a biodiversity policy for creating and protecting biodiversity, and a land selection criteria for selecting high-quality properties which meet expectations in the areas of carbon values, landholder commitment and biodiversity.
